She is a field ecologist and loves working with both plants and animals. Her background is in avian ecology and botany. She works across various areas of field ecology, including forest ecology, plant-animal interactions, particularly seed dispersal by birds and pollination. She is working on nesting ecology of tropical forest birds in collaboration with Conservation Ecology Group, King Mongkut’s University of Technology, Thonburi. The research on forest birds has focused on monitoring nest predation and nest success since 2013-present. Her current research in Khon Kaen is investigating population and wintering habitat of a Critically-Endangered species, Yellow-breasted Bunting (Emberiza aureola). She is also interested in monitoring invasive plants. She is an enthusiast of bird watching as well as butterflies, and wildflowers.
