During the two-days weekend of February 18-19, 2023, the Student Club “Nature Study and Bird Conservation” at the Department of Environmental Science, Khon Kaen University organized the 20th Nature Study and Bird watching Camp at Nam Nao National Park. A total of 63 campers participated in the activity, including undergraduate students from several Faculties e.g. Engineering, Laws, Education, Humanity and Social Sciences, Technology, and Agriculture. A group of Environmental Science alumni also joined the camp. During the last eight years, the Club & Campers have recorded bird species at Nam Nao National Park, so these data help monitor bird community at the park. This year, they recorded at least 116 bird species during the two days’ activity. Moreover, the campers learned the nature surrounded, including native vegetation, ecosystems and forests. Most importantly, they experienced working as a team, problem-solving, being with others and explored the nature.
